CHANCELLOR’S ROBE
The robe was worn by the first, second and third Chancellors of UTM during the Convocation Ceremony between 1979 and 1987. This robe is made of cherry-red songket material embroidered with gold threads. Its pattern is also set in the form of a geometric diagram to symbolize technology while using the original pattern of the songket fabric. The “Potong Wajek” & “Pucuk Rebong” are chosen as the basic patterns.
The Symbol of the University is used as an ornament on the front and side of the robe. The end of the sleeves is decorated with the “Pucuk Rebong” and the symbol of the University.

SENIOR OFFICIAL’S ROBE
Pro Vice Chancellor
The robe was worn by the Senior Officials of the University (Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs) during the Convocation Ceremony in the 1980s until the 1990s. The robe is made of cherry-red silk songket fabric with gold thread embroidery which is patterned into the shapes of diamonds and chevrons. The sleeves extend to the wrists and expand downward. The edges of the sleeves are bordered with five gold thread embroidered strips followed by the chevron patterns alternated with the University symbols. The 10 cm-wide front lapels are decorated with the symbols of the University that run from the shoulders down to the foot of the robe.
Three gold thread pipings serve as the borders for these lapels. The arched neck is half-circle and is decorated with the arrangement of three symbols of the University. Similar to the front lapels, three gold thread embroideries form the border of the half-circle lapel.

BACHELOR’S ROBE
(Faculty of Electrical Engineering)
This robe was worn by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering graduates in the UTM Convocation Ceremony in the 1980s until the 1990s. The yellow stripe on the sleeves represents the graduates from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
The robe is made of cherry-red fabric that has sleeves that expand down to the middle of the arm. The end of the sleeves is decorated with a yellow songket stripe seven-centimeter wide bearing the golden shower pattern. The color of the stripe is in accordance with the color of the faculty.

BACHELOR’S ROBE
(Faculty of Built Development)
The robe was worn by the Faculty of Architecture graduates in the UTM Convocation Ceremony during the 1980s until the 1990s. The purple stripe on the sleeves represents the graduates of the Faculty of Architecture.
The robe is made of cherry-red fabric that has sleeves extending down to the middle of the arms. The end of the sleeves is lined with a seven-centimeter wide songket stripe that bears golden showers’ pattern. The colour of the stripe differs according to faculty.
REGISTRATION BOOK TECHNICAL COLLEGE KUALA LUMPUR: GRADUATES
This book is a duplicate of the original copy, containing a list of names, handwritten, of those who graduated from the Technical College, Kuala Lumpur. Details of the graduates recorded from 1946 to 1968 include various fields of study and their academic achievement levels. The record was signed by the ‘Minister of Education Malaysia, 9th November 1968’.
